The workshop consisted of Bibliometric Analysis introduction, stages in writing Bibliometrics Analysis, how to find originality and novelty, data mining (from database), introduction to Bibliometrics Analysis tools such as Openrefine, VOSviewer, and Tableau, tricks for writing method and result.
On the first day of the workshop, the participants learned about Bibliometrics Analysis and tried to construct their keywords for searching the data through the Scopus database. Due to the limited access to the Scopus account, the participants have full access to ask for the data for the instructors based on their own constructed keywords. Furthermore, the three additional instructors also helped and assisted them to install the tools for Bibliometric analysis. On the second and third days, the participants were focused to learn how to analyze and visualize their data through Openrefine, VOSviewer, and Tableau. After succeeding in visualizing their data, they were guided to interpret the data. On the last day, they were only concentrating on writing and interpreting the visualization results.
Not only learning to write the Bibliometrics Analysis but the participants are also expected to write and publish their articles in the journal as one of the doctoral program requirements, publishing article.
